'I'm all about working with my iPad,' sounds ultra-professional and chic, doesn't it? Some might nod in agreement, while others vehemently oppose. But why the divide? What exactly can you do with an iPad? Let's delve into the possibilities.
It's simply because each person's job is different, and those who agree use iPad for their work, while those who disagree simply don't use it. That's all there is to it.This article isn't meant to argue with anyone, just to share a bit about how I use iPad for my work.
Everyone has their own perspective, no need to be too tense with each other, folks!
Journalist: I've encountered numerous colleagues who produce articles using iPads because the newspaper has pre-set formatting and layout. They compose directly and publish right away. This image features Mr. Ba from SGGP newspaper. I've often run into him, seeing him seize the opportunity to compose and publish articles instantly using his iPad.
Architecture, drawing, design—this is an image of Ngô Tuấn Khôi utilizing the Concept app for drawing. I also use this app, but I'm not as proficient as him 😁.
Concept art: In the past, creating concept art often required a laptop + drawing tablet. Since the advent of the iPad and Pencil, artists have extensively switched to using iPads for concept art.For those unaware: concept art is a highly sought-after profession nowadays. Concept artists craft worlds, create characters, design costumes for games, movies, and TV shows. One feature I frequently utilize is using my iPad to jot down notes on images for posting on social media, adding annotations to images for articles. Specifically, I annotate using the Paper app. I've been using this app for nearly a decade now, ever since the iPad Pro wasn't even released yet. Back then, using this app along with its pen for drawing was the best option. Purchasing the pen would activate its pro features. Now the app isn't as great, if you want to use the pro features, you have to pay, otherwise, you can just use it for free like I do.

Annotations made using the Paper app, what do you guys think? In summary, Paper is an indispensable app on my iPad. I find myself using it constantly, even advocating for its free use because I'm so enamored with it. Currently, I'm utilizing the free version, abstaining from purchasing the pro tools.Creating Mindmaps
Mindmaps are a tool I frequently rely on. They assist me in conceptualizing ideas, organizing layouts for articles, nearly all my written work starts with a Mindmap framework. For Mindmapping, I use the Mindnode app. Previously, I purchased the paid version, Mindnode 2. Now, I'm utilizing the free version of Mindnode. It's available for Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
I use the free version of Mindnode, which I find sufficient for my daily needs. If anyone requires more features or wishes to change themes, they can consider purchasing it. Personally, I dislike subscription models; I prefer the old method of buying once and using it indefinitely, like I did in the past. However, with the current trend towards subscriptions, I stick to the free version.
On my Macbook, I also utilize Mindnode, saving all my work on iCloud Drive. This way, I can easily access my mind maps on my iPad whenever I need them.
Alternatively, users can access their Mindnode files using the Files app on iPad/iPhone. Simply locate the files and tap to open, and they will automatically open in the Mindnode app.
Before every long journey, before any task, I always turn to Mindnode to ensure nothing is overlooked, to organize my belongings, etc.
Remember that piece? This is the Mindnode I crafted for it. Afterwards, I expanded on those ideas to complete the piece.
With Mindnode + iPad and keyboard, I can structure my piece, jot down ideas everywhere effortlessly.
Storing on iCloud ensures seamless synchronization across all devices. Need to make edits? Just open your Mac or iPhone, and it's there. Here, I share two tasks I frequently perform with my iPad, folks. Next time, I'll delve into other tools I often use on my iPad.Wishing you all joy, folks!
