In addition to manual deletion, users can quickly clear Safari web data using keyboard shortcuts.
Step 1: On the main interface of Mac OS, select Apple (the Apple icon) and choose System Preferences… to access all system settings.
Step 2: Once the System Preferences window appears, select the Keyboard tab to configure keyboard settings.
Step 3: In the Shortcuts tab, search for the App Shortcuts section to set up shortcuts for applications on your computer.
Step 4: To add an application to the App Shortcuts section, select the Add option (+ sign).
Step 5: To create shortcuts for the Safari browser, set the Application field to Safari.app.
Step 6: Next, you'll need to set up additional content as follows:
- Shortcut Title: Title of the Shortcut
- Keyboard Shortcut: Shortcut Key (press Shift + Command + H)
Step 7: Typically, when clearing Safari browsing history, you'll need to open the browser and press the combination Shift + Command + H.
However, with this method, you can clear Safari browsing history from anywhere, even on the main MacOS screen, simply by pressing Shift + Command + H.
After pressing Shift + Command + H, simply select Clear History to confirm clearing the browsing data is complete.
