Using the camera-based exercise solving app
To utilize Photomath for solving exercises via the camera image, you need to download PhotoMath to your phone:
- Download Photomath for Android
- Download Photomath for iPhone
Implementation steps:
Step 1: Open the Photomath app on your phone. If you see the interface in Vietnamese:
- Click on 'Let's Go' (Figure 1) to use the app in Vietnamese interface.
Step 2: The app asks 'Allow Photomath to take pictures and record videos', click on 'Allow' (Figure 3). Now, point your phone at the math problem you want to solve and click on the red circular button below the interface (Figure 4).
Note:
- Ensure that the math problem you want to solve fits neatly within the red rectangular frame displayed on the screen for easy recognition by the app.
- You can adjust the size of this rectangular frame as desired within the app's allowed dimensions.
Step 3: The app will display the solution to the exercise. Click on 'Show steps' (Figure 5). Look at the bottom of the interface, click on 'Explain steps' (Figure 6) to see how each step is solved.
Step 4: Now, Photomath will show the explanation for the first step, click on 'Next' (Figure 7) to see the explanation for the next step, until the Solution is displayed as in Figure 8.
