The Uzbekistan Tourism Board introduces a novel 30-day tourist visa with a 30% discount on visa fees.
Uzbekistan Unveils 30-Day Tourist Visa
To minimize traveler hassles like those with short-term visas, Uzbekistan extends visa options. Previously, the country only offered two types, for 7 or 15 days.
The decision to extend visas was approved by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on December 4th. Additionally, the visa processing fee has dropped from $60 to $40. The number of people eligible for group tourist visas has decreased from 10 to 5.
Meanwhile, the revocation of visas for visitors from 27 countries to Uzbekistan has been postponed until the end of January 1, 2021, according to Trend.

In the first half of 2017, Uzbekistan issued over 51,000 visas to foreign visitors, marking a 12% increase from the same period in 2016. Uzbekistan is currently conducting an extensive campaign to attract international guests.
Uzbekistan, positioned in Central Asia along the famous Silk Road, leaves visitors awe-struck with its opulent palaces, majestic cathedrals, and lively bustling markets.
