Valve's Official Version of Dota 2 Auto Chess Arrives
Valve's Dota Underlords Officially Joins the Auto Chess Scene
Earlier this year, Dota Auto Chess was released on Steam, quickly becoming a hot commodity for both Dota players and newcomers alike. With its rising popularity, Auto Chess was just a matter of time before it became a standalone title.
A few weeks ago, Valve revealed that they had ambitious plans for Auto Chess, announcing their intention to develop a special standalone version of the game with many details and a forthcoming release. Early this morning, Valve officially launched Dota Underlords, a special standalone edition of Dota 2 Auto Chess.
This gaming news comes just days after the Chinese game publisher Dragonest revealed Auto Chess, a Dota 2 Auto Chess clone without any iconic characters from the game. According to the announcement on the Dota Underlords game page, the game will be a completely standalone version, allowing players to battle against seven opponents in a highly strategic and intellectually challenging match.
Owners of the Dota 2 Battle Pass can now experience Dota Underlords firsthand. Valve has also revealed that they will conduct this trial for one week or longer before officially launching Dota Underlords to players with the Open Beta version. At this point, you can play the Dota Underlords trial version, Dota 2 Auto Chess, right here.
As Open Beta kicks off, Dota Underlords will be available for free through the Steam copyright game, on iOS and Android operating systems. This is big news for Dota 2 Auto Chess mod enthusiasts and it's fantastic to see Valve releasing a standalone version that players can enjoy from anywhere.
