Admission criteria for the 2020 high school graduation exam results assessment round 1:

The cutoff scores are for candidates who are high school students in area 3 (non-preferential treatment area). The score difference for admission cutoff between the two next groups of subjects is 1.00 point; between the two next areas is 0.25 points.
(*): Subjects with an exam coefficient of 2. The admission cutoff scores for these subjects are converted to a 30-point scale according to the formula: admission cutoff score = (subject 1 score + subject 2 score + major subject * 2) * 3/4, specifically:
- Piano, Music Theory: Music Aptitude Exam 2 with a coefficient of 2.
- Industrial Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design: Drawing Aptitude Exam 2.
- Architecture: Fine Arts Drawing with a coefficient of 2.

From 05/10/2020, Van Lang University will announce the admission results to candidates by:
- Sending SMS notifications to each successful candidate.
- Updating data for candidates to check admission results, admission letter on the website: https://xettuyenonline.vanlanguni.edu.vn.
- Sending official admission letters to candidates via express delivery (postal service); at the same time, providing candidates with electronic versions of the admission letter (accessible via the website at: https://xettuyenonline.vanlanguni.edu.vn/giaybaonhaphoc)
- From 07/10/2020 to 11/10/2020 (including Sundays), candidates come to the university to complete admission procedures. In the short time available, for various reasons, if candidates have not received the admission letter from Van Lang University, you can still come to the university to complete admission procedures normally by checking admission results on the system (to confirm Student ID) and download the electronic version of the admission letter (via the website) to come to the university to complete admission procedures.
- According to the mandatory regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, in case of objective reasons preventing candidates from coming to the university to complete admission procedures within the specified time, candidates who are admitted and wish to enroll at Van Lang University must submit the High School Graduation Exam Result Certificate for the year 2020 - the original version (with red seal) to Van Lang University before 17:00 on 10/10/2020 (according to the postmark) to confirm enrollment. For candidates applying for admission based on high school transcripts in the first round for 7 talent-based majors (Architecture, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Piano, Music Theory), as soon as you receive your talent exam scores, submit a certified photocopy of the exam score sheet to Van Lang University to complete the admission process (except for those who take the Drawing or Music Talent exams at Van Lang, in which case the university will proactively transfer your talent exam scores into the admission system).

2. Admission criteria for Van Lang Private University 2019

- Admission based on high school academic performance (transcript) is one of the admission methods of Van Lang University. The university accepts applications for admission through this method in 3 rounds.

- Round one: from May 2nd to June 15th; round two: from July 2nd to July 30th; and round three: from August 1st to August 31st (if any).

- Candidates admitted through the high school transcript assessment method in round one of 2019 are expected to complete enrollment procedures from July 22nd to August 3rd.
