Finally, VCS has issued the first rulings on SE's case.
Since the inception of VCS Sunset 2023, the tournament has faced challenges with SBTC Esports - the former runner-up of VCS Dawn, embroiled in negative speculations. SE's situation is deemed highly serious and impacts various parties. Notably, three SE players - Slayder, Dia1, and Palette, were withdrawn from the Vietnamese LoL team for ASIAD despite their prior announcement.

However, despite numerous developments from involved parties, VCS is yet to deliver a final ruling on the matter. SE even sent a letter to VCS urging for investigation results. There were also rumors about VCS and Riot potentially involving Sportradar - an organization specialized in investigating negative sports issues, in the investigation. However, as VCS Sunset 2023 nears its conclusion, everything remains silent.

Recently, VCS issued its first official announcement regarding the investigation results. Specifically, VCS organizers decided to forfeit all of SE's matches in VCS Sunset 2023. Consequently, the SE team won't participate in playoffs. However, three SE members - Palette, Coach Naul, and analyst HYPE, were found not under investigation and can resume normal activities. Regarding Palette, from VCS's announcement, it can be inferred that he and his teammates have been suspended from playing during this period.

Following VCS's announcement, many audiences expressed satisfaction as VCS organizers displayed the initial investigation results. Additionally, VCS's announcement will pave the way for Palette as he has faced numerous issues during this period. However, some are also anticipating the results of the remaining investigations. At the same time, some speculate that this might mark the end of the SE brand, even at a juncture where they seemed to be making initial achievements, having achieved the runner-up position in VCS Dawn 2023.

In general, fans have gained some insight into SE's situation. The worst-case scenarios are something nobody wants. However, undoubtedly, VCS fans also hope for a healthy environment for Vietnamese League of Legends, in particular, and Esports in general to have the opportunity to thrive.
