* Reading comprehension tips for Vietnamese Verbs 4 Creative Horizon
1. Look for in the following poems, passages:
a. Verbs indicating actions of people, objects: ignite, wrangle (a scarf), carry, plow, splash water, find the way back, cast a net, catch fish, bloom
b. Verbs indicating states of people, objects: full, sad, remember.
2. Find verbs indicating actions, states of each object in the image:
- Airplane: fly, stop, take off, land, tilt, descend,...
- The flower blossomed, swayed, waved, grew, looked fresh, withered,...
- The bird flew, hopped, sang, hopped branches, flapped wings, nodded,...
- The sun set, radiated sunlight, rose high, rose, descended from the mountain,...
3. Form 1-2 sentences describing the actions, states of an object in exercise 2:
- The little bird chirped cheerfully on the high branch.
- While waiting for the airplane to take off, I felt really nervous and excited.
- The red flowers bloomed vibrantly, swaying gracefully in the wind.
- I really enjoy watching the sunrise over the sea.
