Despite the sunless winter sky, a gentle warmth still pervades over the fields of Nghia Trai village, Tan Quang commune, Van Lam district, Hung Yen province, thanks to the vibrant yellow color of the advancing king daisies..

This has also become a popular destination for young people from Hanoi who flock here to take photos in recent days.
Nghia Trai village, located in Van Lam town, Hung Yen, is an area bordering Hanoi, famous nationwide for cultivating and processing medicinal herbs. Particularly, the 'advancing king' daisy (also known as the golden daisy) is the characteristic medicinal plant of this craft village.
Just less than 30km from the center of Hanoi. After passing the territory of the capital city, when reaching Nhu Quynh town, Van Lam district, turning about 2km will lead to the daisy fields of Nghia Trai village.
It is currently the time when daisies are in full bloom, and local residents are concentrating on harvesting. In just a few days, many flower fields will fade away. Thick flower beds, long, wide rows are still relatively few. Young people still take advantage of the time to immerse themselves in the scent of the countryside and capture impressive photos in this famous medicinal herb village of the 'second capital' Hien Street.
These days, daisies are in full bloom, painting the fields with vibrant yellow, creating a poetic, rustic, and captivating beauty.
The small daisy flowers, as beautiful as tiny suns, shimmer and shine under the field. Each blossom blooming, each cluster crowded like stars in the sky, the bright yellow color shining like autumn sunlight.
Driving on the road, looking down at the golden flower fields, one wants to embrace all those round, cute flowers.
Each daisy stem has dozens of flowers crowded together, showing off their beauty and fragrance. The distinctive scent of the flowers is quite impressive and long-lasting.
Gently strolling through the flower fields, picking flowers, fingers smelling of daisies, hair carrying the scent of daisies. Walking through the fields, everywhere there is a faint, refreshing scent.
Advancing king daisies are planted for about 6 months before harvest. Each harvest yields 2 batches, with each batch separated by nearly a month. The harvested daisies are dried naturally or dried by artificial means.
Advancing king daisies are known for their cooling, refreshing nature and gentle fragrance. They are used to make chrysanthemum tea or as ingredients in various traditional Chinese medicines to treat many ailments.
During the chrysanthemum harvesting season, the golden fields are always crowded with people. The elderly, children, men, and women are all busy in the fields.
Chrysanthemum petals are delicate and easily crushed by dew, wind, and the short blooming period. Therefore, when the flowers begin to bloom, attention must be focused on harvesting. Many households have to hire additional labor to meet the demand.
