Note: This guide is demonstrated using Vietnamese version of Office PowerPoint 2016. For Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Office 2010 versions onwards, you can perform similar steps.
1. Creating Header and Footer in PowerPoint
Step 1: Navigate to Insert > Choose Header & Footer under the Insert tab.

Step 2: Check the Footer option to create a bottom title for slides > Enter title content > Click Apply to All to apply to all slides.

Furthermore: If you want to insert Header, Footer into (handout page) Note in Handouts, do as follows:
Step 1: Go to Insert > Select Header & Footer under the Insert tab.
Step 2: Select Note and Handouts tab > Tick Header and Footer > Enter title content respectively > Click Apply to All to apply to all slides.

Check the Header and Footer, enter the title content and click Apply to All
Note: At this point, the title will not be displayed on the slide yet. To view if the header and footer have been inserted into the slide, do the following: Go to View > Select Notes page.

2. Some considerations when creating Header and Footer in PowerPoint
- Titles in PowerPoint are commonly named after the subject of the course (for lectures) or the title of the project (for dissertations).
- The usual position for slide titles is at the bottom of the PowerPoint slide.
- You can change the position of the slide title using the Slide Master feature in PowerPoint.
