According to the Vietjet Air carry-on baggage regulations, each passenger is allowed to bring 1 main piece and 1 small accessory. The carry-on baggage must meet the standard criteria to be taken into the passenger cabin and comply with the following regulations:

Dimensions
- Main item: Maximum 56 x 36 x 23cm
- Accessory: In addition to the main carry-on item, passengers are allowed to bring 1 of the following accessories:
- 01 handbag or book, magazine, camera, etc.: Maximum 30 x 20 x 10cm
- 01 coat bag: Maximum 114 x 60 x 11cm
- 01 laptop bag: Maximum 40 x 30 x 10cm
Carry-on baggage may be rechecked by Vietjet Air staff at the departure gate to ensure compliance with weight and size regulations.
In case of exceeding the standards, you will have to pay a fee to check in the baggage or your baggage will be refused for transportation on the airline's flight.

For Vietjet Air checked baggage, the airline specifies the dimensions and weight as follows:
- Dimensions: Maximum 119 x 119 x 81cm (golf equipment with a total dimension of not exceeding 203cm)

- Baggage pricing is applicable when booking online through the website/application/agents/ offices of Vietjet Air at least 4 hours prior to the flight.
- Price does not include 10% VAT and service fees.

Items Prohibited in Carry-on but Allowed in Checked Baggage
Below are some types of items prohibited in Vietjet Air carry-on baggage but permitted in checked baggage:
- Various tools such as wrenches, pliers, spanners, etc., with a length over 10cm, crowbars, pickaxes, hammers, or metal-handled hand tools
- Various types of knives and other items with sharp or pointed blades longer than 10cm
- Laser pens
- Toy items mimicking weapons
- Sports equipment (golf clubs, baseball bats, hockey sticks...)
- Camera tripods, stands with sharp or metal ends
Vietjet Air does not transport weapons and support tools except for those authorized to use, carried by individuals as specified by the law.
Items Not to be Placed in Checked Baggage
In Vietjet Air checked baggage, passengers should not include the following items:
- Power Banks: Power banks for handheld electronic devices are allowed in Vietjet Air carry-on baggage. Power banks brought on board must meet the conditions of being lithium-ion with a capacity from 100Wh to 160Wh, each battery not exceeding 2 grams of lithium metal, or over 100Wh for lithium-ion batteries.
- Valuables: Cash, gold, jewelry, laptops, phones, cameras...
- Essential Items: Personal documents like ID cards, driver's licenses, passports, work-related documents...
