Vietnam Airlines officially granted license to fly to Canada
Vietnam Airlines has just been officially granted the “Foreign Air Operator Certificate” (FAOC) by the Canadian Ministry of Transportation to conduct flights to this country. The earliest flight is scheduled to depart on June 30 to bring Vietnamese citizens back from Toronto.

The FAOC certificate issued to Vietnam Airlines is effective from June 11, 2021, with no time or flight restrictions. With the FAOC certificate, Vietnam Airlines can operate passenger and cargo flights between Vietnam and all airports in Canada.

With a round-trip flight time of over 30 hours, Vietnam Airlines will deploy aircraft such as the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 to operate flights to Canada.
Currently, Vietnam Airlines is developing plans to operate flights between Vietnam and Canada, with the major cities of Toronto and Vancouver as key destinations.
