Boasting an immense trove of travel information, TripAdvisor has evolved into the world's favorite online travel guide for globetrotters.
Among this year's 25 most alluring travel spots in Asia, Hanoi secures the 14th position, Ho Chi Minh City the 15th, Hoi An the 17th, and Ha Long the 25th.

TripAdvisor states on its website: “The Vietnamese capital holds ancient history, preserving its Old Quarter, museums, and colonial architecture while constructing numerous modern districts… With numerous lakes, parks, shaded streets, and over 600 temples and churches, the city's beauty is further enhanced.”

Describing Ho Chi Minh City as Vietnam's largest city showcasing the country's rapid cultural and economic development, Hoi An serves as a prime example in preserving the most important trading port in Southeast Asia from the 15th to the 19th century, while Ha Long is a must-visit for travelers to admire stunning limestone islands and breathtaking caves.
