After more than a week of opening submissions, Vietnam Game Awards 2023 showcases its popularity with nominations exceeding 200.
The Vietnam Game Awards, a highlight in the Vietnam GameVerse 2023 event, commenced on 6/2. The current nominations surpass 200, indicating the gaming community's enthusiasm for this inaugural event in Vietnam.
Among these, mobile nominations dominate, constituting over 40%. This highlights the focus of local game developers on mobile platforms, driven by a large player base willing to invest more in mobile content than on computers.
Vietnam Game Awards 2023 continues to accept nominations until 20/2. Following that, the program progresses to the Preliminary round, taking place from 23/2 to 3/3. At this stage, the advancement of each nomination is determined by a 50% reader vote and 50% evaluation from the judging panel, comprising experts, journalists, and KOLs in the gaming industry. Each category will select 5 outstanding candidates to enter the Finals from 7/3 to 26/3.

In this set, the final outcomes for the gaming community, payment channels, and beverages categories are solely based on the number of votes, signifying the readers' preferences without expert ratings.

The award ceremony for Vietnam Game Awards 2023 is scheduled to take place in early April.
The 2023 Vietnam Game Awards is a focal point of the Vietnam GameVerse 2023 event. The program is organized in collaboration with the Radio and Television Department, VnExpress newspaper, and the Vietnam Game Alliance. From February to April, the event features diverse activities such as Game Talks panel discussions, Game Arena competitions, Game Workshop exhibitions, and a forum on trends in the Vietnamese gaming industry.
