VinaPhone announces completion of a monumental project, involving 53 days and nights of preparation, construction, and installation of two BTS stations on Fansipan...
VinaPhone's mobile network proudly unveils the accomplishment of erecting BTS stations on the peak of Fansipan, standing at an elevation of 3,045 meters.
In detail, VinaPhone's two BTS stations on Fansipan include one 2G broadcasting station and one 3G station, covering a radius of 3-4 km from the summit, with a 3G access speed of up to 42Mbps.
With these two broadcasting stations, VinaPhone asserts itself as the first official telecom provider in Vietnam to 'blanket the roof of Indochina'.
The mobile network reveals that it took 53 days and nights for preparation, construction, and installation, transporting tons of materials and equipment from an altitude of 1,450m to 3,100m, enduring harsh weather conditions, rain, ice, and falling snow.
According to VinaPhone, the broadcasting station atop Fansipan will significantly contribute to ensuring seamless communication, continuously serving political security, forest fire prevention, agricultural product control, and search and rescue operations in the Hoang Lien National Park.
