Here is a list of the top 10 countries globally for Facebook, TikTok, and Youtube users, as provided by market research company DataReportal (Singapore). Vietnam secures positions 6, 7, and 9 on this list.
Facebook holds the title of the world's largest social media platform with 2.99 billion users, as of May 2023.
India, with around 314.6 million users, claims the top spot globally for the highest number of Facebook users. Following closely are the United States with 175 million users and Indonesia with 119.9 million users.
Vietnam, with 66.2 million users, also secures a spot among the top 10 countries with the highest number of Facebook users globally.
TikTok
As of May 2023, TikTok holds the 6th position in terms of regular users, boasting over 1.1 billion users above the age of 18.
The United States leads the world in TikTok users with over 116.5 million people. Previously held by India, this title shifted due to concerns about privacy and security, leading the country to ban TikTok and several other Chinese apps.
Indonesia, with 113 million enthusiasts, and Brazil, with 84.1 million accounts, take second and third place globally in TikTok users.
Vietnam, with 50.6 million users, secures the 6th position among the top 10 countries with the highest number of TikTok users.

Youtube, with over 2.5 billion regular users, currently holds the position as the world's second-largest social media platform.
With 467 million users, India takes the lead as the country with the highest YouTube enthusiasts. Vietnam ranks 9th among the top 10 countries with the most frequent users of this platform, boasting around 63 million users.
