The humorous video clip of this Western guy has attracted the attention of the online community with his humorous style. However, his subjective opinion about the younger generation has been the focal point for several days. Some photo 'poses' taken by her leave viewers amazed by the lesser-known locations. Quite interested in the trending clip of Kyo York, this female blogger shared, 'I always think if I have time, I'll travel from one end of the country to the other. Through the lens and perception, the country will be beautiful in my own way, and I always think I haven't traveled enough. And above all, as a Vietnamese person, I must be moved by my country first.' Shortly after, she also expressed her personal views on exploring Vietnam, saying, 'Don't rush to go far, explore Vietnam first, take it slow. Remember, the issue isn't always about money.' She also doesn't like the way some young people explore only easy-to-reach places.
Even The Dragon Girl 'refutes'
Another notable point in the clip has sparked heated debates among many young people. It's the line '... Confidently explore Vietnam. Regretfully, wonders are everywhere, yet why aren't Vietnamese youth aware. Do you know why?' To answer the question 'Why?', Hà Nguyễn (also a YouTube member) expressed, 'Vietnam has many beautiful places, even street food is worth mentioning. Here, there are many beautiful scenic spots, Kyo can freely explore.' Perhaps Kyo York hasn't met all Vietnamese youth to know that there are still those who are passionate about exploration and always have 'travel plans' from North to South? It seems he needs to reconsider his viewpoint when evaluating Vietnamese youth as lazy in exploring their homeland.
Discussing the clip, hot blogger The Dragon Girl also agrees with the views of many young people mentioned above. She said, 'The young people that Kyo York talks about in the video are just a small part of passive Vietnamese youth, who don't like exploring the beauty of the country. In reality, nowadays many young people pack their bags and travel during the summer, discovering beautiful scenes that no one has mentioned. Perhaps Kyo hasn't met the right people when seeking advice on interesting travel destinations'. So, it seems that the 'counterattack' from the young community is justified.
Both female 'hot bloggers' have shown that Kyo York's viewpoint isn't entirely accurate. If Ha Kin is a typical example of young people who love exploring Vietnam, then The Dragon Girl has a more objective view of the youth. And above all, they've proven that young people aren't turning their backs on the beauty of Vietnam.
