Vietnamese LMHT team successfully advances to ASIAD 19 quarterfinals

As you may know, the first matches of LMHT at ASIAD 19 have begun. Vietnam's gamers are in Group B with Japan and Palestine. We've had a fantastic day of competition, defeating both opponents and becoming the group leader, securing a spot in the quarterfinals.

LMHT is one of the eSports events taking place at ASIAD 19, held in Hangzhou, China. Despite strong regions like South Korea and China having teams participating, the tournament format and draw results have inadvertently given Vietnam hope of winning a medal.

Today, on 9/25/2023, the matches in Group B of the ASIAD 19 preliminary round have taken place. The Vietnamese LMHT team had an impressive day at ASIAD 19. Vietnamese players competed very successfully, winning two consecutive matches against representatives from Japan and Palestine. Unfortunately, due to prohibitively high copyright costs, Vietnamese gamers couldn't watch these matches live.

This dominant victory has secured our top spot in Group B and our ticket to the Quarterfinals of the tournament. The team has showcased determination, fiery passion, and hunger on the journey to bring home medals for our nation. On the 27th of September, we will continue to face off against the Indian team in the quarterfinals. Let's celebrate and cheer for our athletes on their quest for medals at ASIAD 19!
