Unlike GAM, TW will clash with a highly-rated team at Worlds 2023 - Team BDS. They're the 4th seed from the LEC after defeating GG in the interregional playoffs, becoming TW's opponent on day 2 of the Play-In stage. However, TW caused a sensation by excellently defeating this formidable opponent with a 2-1 score.

On the other side, BDS also picked Darius - a champion absent from Worlds for quite a while. After the draft phase, we have a beautiful team composition with Renekton - Viego - Neeko - Kai'Sa - Rakan. This is considered a favorable composition for TW members.

The match started with intensity in the top lane as Adam's Darius exerted immense pressure. Consequently, the first blood fell into the hands of BDS' jungler after a prolonged skirmish. At minute 6, Sparda went down for the second time, widening the gap in the top lane. At minute 10, TW's attempt to gank failed, and Sparda's Darius secured a Triple Kill, thus establishing a 3-level lead in the top lane.

At the 20-minute mark, another unsuccessful attempt to target Adam cost TW dearly as they traded Baron and 4 kills. With the gained advantage, BDS snowballed the game aggressively, ultimately finishing it at the 24th minute.

In the second game, both teams fielded strong team compositions, with the jungle and ADC roles having similar picks to game 1. TW secured an early advantage with a kill on BeanJ during a contest for the Scuttle Crab. At the 6-minute mark, BDS secured the first Dragon but paid the price with a kill on support Labrov. A skirmish at the Rift Herald pit gave TW a significant advantage as BDS left behind 3 kills.

Artemis shone brightest for TW as he consistently found picks. Immediately after, at the Baron pit, TW wiped out their opponents and secured the first Baron of the game. TW snowballed relentlessly, ending their opponent's resistance after nearly 40 minutes, pushing the bo3 series into a decisive third game.

In the deciding game, TW fielded a team with strong early skirmishing potential with the duo of Leesin - LeBlanc. Meanwhile, in the bot lane, Artemis wielded Xayah paired with Bie's Nautilus.

The game started relatively slowly, but TW's bot lane duo thrilled Vietnamese fans with a superb dual kill. Meanwhile, in the top lane, BeanJ gained an advantage with a successful gank.

TW displayed extreme composure in macro plays, controlling objectives and BDS' structures. At the 26-minute mark, TW made a breakthrough with a Baron attack, resulting in 5 buffs for the 2nd seed of the VCS region. BeanJ and teammates remained composed in attacking enemy turrets and controlling the Infernal Dragon buff. At the 32-minute mark, BDS' attempt to contest Baron failed as TW organized an impressive counter-attack, securing their second buff of the game. TW widened the gap with the Infernal Dragon soul, ultimately finishing off BDS after 40 minutes of intense gameplay.

With this result, TW will advance to the winner's bracket of Group B to face CFO - the team that just defeated DFM in the first match of today's competition. This victory has solidified the position of the VCS region, especially as TW is only participating in Worlds for the first time.
