Good news for Vietnamese tourists in South Korea! From August to December 2013, travel groups with 10 or more members visiting the land of kimchi will receive a support of 15,000 won per person. This is the official announcement from the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).
Additionally, groups with 10 to 1,000 people will be welcomed at the airport, receive souvenir gifts, enjoy artistic performances, and explore tourist attractions. Activities include making traditional cakes, trying on hanbok... For groups with more than 1,000 people, KTO will provide additional special assistance.

The process to enjoy these special benefits is straightforward. Travel companies only need to submit complete information, including itinerary, list of group members, and registration form following KTO's template, at least 15 to 20 days before the group's departure. Send it to the Korea Tourism Organization's office in Vietnam (Room 1302, 13th floor, CharmVit Building, 117 Tran Duy Hung, Cau Giay District, Hanoi; phone: +84-4-3556 4040, 4242, 4343; fax: +84-4-3556 41; email: [email protected]).
At the end of March, the Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam launched the 2013 campaign named 'Korea Tourism Year' and organized various culturally rich activities such as music performances and mini-fairs. The support measures for Vietnamese tourists visiting Korea can be seen as a demand-boosting initiative, attracting Vietnamese travelers to the land of kimchi.
