The first electric buses in Vietnam have officially hit the road, operating on a trial basis in Vinhome Ocean Park urban area (Gia Lam - Hanoi) while waiting to complete necessary procedures to connect with the city's public transport system. In addition to using new electric energy, VinBus aims to be a smart public vehicle with integrated new features such as: automatic driver behavior control, warning of safety risks, automatic lowering mode every time passengers get on and off, electronic route announcement board, free WiFi, USB charging ports, security cameras...VinBus is an electric bus model manufactured and assembled by VinFast Company at the Automobile Manufacturing Complex in Hai Phong, applying various new technologies along with smart and safe features according to VinFast's current development strategy of smart electric car lines. The first electric bus route and the first electric buses operated by VinBus Transport Service Company were inaugurated on April 8, 2021.
