Thanks to my recent trip to Vietnam in April 2022, I had the opportunity to explore many regions in this beautiful country. I had intended to embark on a cross-country trip since 2018, during my time in Ho Chi Minh City. One of the famous cities I visited on my recent trip was Da Nang. Prior to my visit, many people had told me that it was a wonderful and livable city, so I was quite looking forward to this experience. I heard that Da Nang is a modern city with stunning beaches, rich cultural heritage, and a relaxed atmosphere. The first place I chose to stay was the luxurious Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang resort.
Airport Transfers
Before diving into discussing my villa, let me walk you through the layout of Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang. At the heart of the resort lies the main hotel building arranged in a U-shape. The centerpiece is the stunning main pool, boasting a beauty beyond words. Every path here leads to a fine, velvety sand beach. The scenery exudes purity, untouched beauty, with the staff ensuring everything looks picture-perfect. Truly magnificent!
To the north of the resort are several clusters of private villas surrounding two large lagoons. Among them, some villas offer breathtaking views, overlooking both the lagoon and the sea (similar to my villa!)
Ocean-facing 3-bedroom villa
Before arrival, I had no idea what to expect. I was ECSTATIC to find out I was assigned the stunning Ocean-facing 3-bedroom villa, complete with a private pool. It takes me just about 30 seconds to stroll to the beach from the villa. Absolutely astounding! Surrounded by water on all sides with a private pool, lagoon, and vast ocean.
Culinary Delights
During my stay at Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang, I had ample opportunities to indulge in culinary experiences. From lavish buffet breakfasts to in-room dining, poolside refreshments, private villa BBQ parties, and even trying out a new style of afternoon tea.
Morning Feast
The breakfast spread, served buffet-style on the ground floor, delighted me with its picturesque dining area overlooking the resort's lush grounds and shimmering pool. There was a diverse array of local and international dishes to choose from, all of which were delectable, and the service was impeccable. Unlike other resorts I've visited, the tranquility and elegance of this breakfast experience were truly remarkable. Absolutely fabulous!
In-Room Dining Experience
Most of my meals during my time at Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang took place in the comfort of my villa. Initially, I found the food a bit bland, but upon expressing my preference for local flavors, the dishes were adjusted accordingly! Since then, almost every dish served to me has been bursting with flavor. While the service was professional and the food generally suited my palate, there were some minor hiccups with room service.
Private Villa BBQ Party
One evening, the staff organized an extravagant private surf and turf BBQ party. They set up a luxurious outdoor dining area on the lawn. They arrived early in the afternoon to begin preparations, setting up glamorous string lights around the yard, which truly made the atmosphere incredibly romantic and enchanting. Impressively, they even arranged a bar counter and a dedicated bartender for the evening. This setup would be perfect for any occasion, from intimate proposals to large-scale dinner parties. Needless to say, the ambiance was incredibly romantic for a proposal, or could cater to larger groups for grand evening affairs.
Unexpected Culinary Delight
Afternoon Tea Experience
A novel service at Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang is the indulgence of high-end afternoon tea, which I had the pleasure of experiencing by the poolside. As this is a new service and not without initial challenges to overcome, I didn't have overly high expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised; I was truly impressed with most of the offerings at the tea party. While there may be a few adjustments needed, overall, the dishes looked and tasted delightful! I'm sure that if you indulge in afternoon tea here, you'll find something to love!

In summary, while not everything was perfect, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang. What left a profound impression on me about this resort is the warm and friendly Vietnamese people. Even when things didn't go according to plan, I could feel that the staff here were giving their all. I believe that with just a few adjustments, this resort will become the top-tier destination it aspires to be. Overall, the staff exceeded my expectations and treated me like royalty. I still feel a warm and nostalgic feeling when I think about my time here. I would be delighted to return and experience it all over again. So, I am more than happy to recommend Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang for your next vacation in Vietnam!
