To enter China, you must prepare the following: Original passport valid for at least 6 months and a Chinese entry visa.
The visa application process for China will vary depending on whether you travel independently or go on a fully guided tour of China.
To apply for a tourist visa for China independently, you need to submit the following documents as required by the Embassy:
+ Original passport valid for at least 6 months.
+ Completed tourist visa application form for China (available for download on the website or directly from the Embassy).
+ 2 passport-sized photos (4*6) with a white background.
+ Notarized copy of household registration book.
+ Notarized copy of ID card.
+ Leave of absence application for tourism purposes.
+ Documents proving employment and financial status.

- Applying for a tourist visa to China through a tour is much simpler; you only need to submit the original passport or send a passport photo to the travel company along with 2 passport-sized photos with a white background to complete the process. However, for passport holders who have previously traveled to Middle Eastern countries such as Israel, Iran, Lebanon, etc., tourist visa applications might not be accepted.
- To complete the immigration procedure, you also need to provide all necessary documents such as: Travel luggage declaration form, health declaration card, and entry declaration form - provided on the plane (or at the border entry point if traveling by road).
