Japanese public opinion once buzzed about a peculiar man dressing like... a high school girl. Recently, the media unearthed juicy details about him. This man's real name is Hideaki Kobayashi, known as the 'Sailor Suit Grandpa'.


Photos of Mr. Kobayashi on the streets of Tokyo were first spotted on several Japanese websites and Twitter. He appeared comfortable and cheerful despite wearing... a sailor uniform similar to high school girls'. Many were surprised as they couldn't fathom his intentions.


IT Media website conducted an interview with Mr. Hideaki Kobayashi. Responding to the question: 'Why do you dress like a Japanese high school girl?', he said: 'That's a tough question. I don't ponder too much on the reason, it's just that I enjoy wearing sailor uniforms and it makes me happy'.
