A plethora of offices, hotels, and restaurants in Hue have displayed signs offering 'free restroom' services to welcome tourists to address their needs discreetly.

Tourists visiting Hue are offered complimentary restroom usage.

Given the challenge many tourists face in finding restroom facilities while exploring Hue, the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment of Thua Thien Hue Province has mobilized businesses, agencies, cafes, hotels, etc., in Hue to allow tourists and locals to use restroom facilities free of charge.

In response to the department's initiative, numerous offices, hotels, restaurants, and cafes in Hue have displayed 'free restroom' signs at their entrances for tourists visiting Hue to utilize.

Wandering along bustling streets frequented by tourists such as Le Loi, Hung Vuong, Nguyen Hue, Nguyen Cong Tru, Hung Vuong, the majority of hotels, restaurants, and cafes here have displayed signs inviting tourists to use complimentary restroom facilities.

Anh Võ Quốc Hùng, a traveler from Cà Mau province, shared his frequent struggles in finding public restrooms while visiting Hue. When in need during his journeys, he often found refuge in coffee shops, ordering a cup of coffee just to use their restroom facilities.

'Returning to Hue this year, seeing cafes and restaurants with signs saying 'free restrooms,' I felt genuinely excited and grateful for the tourism environment in Hue. Such establishments make travelers like me feel that the locals here are very friendly and welcoming,' said Mr. Hùng.

Mr. Phan Thiên Định, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Thừa Thiên – Huế province, disclosed that over 50 agencies, hotels, restaurants, and coffee shops in Hue have joined in offering 'free restrooms' to tourists and locals. This includes the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Culture, and the People's Committee of Hue City.

'Hopefully, in the near future, more offices, hotels, restaurants, and even households in the area will provide free restroom access to visitors. This will make the tourism environment in Hue even friendlier in the eyes of tourists,' Mr. Định expressed.
