Dam Mon Peninsula is situated in Van Phong Bay, in Van Thanh commune, Vạn Ninh district, approximately 104km from Nha Trang city. Dam Mon is currently a favorite destination for tourists when visiting Nha Trang.
Visitors to Nha Trang are thrilled by the beauty of Dam Mon Peninsula

Dam Mon Peninsula is a destination that can almost fulfill every demand of tourists when they visit Nha Trang: it offers the most challenging, pristine, and beautiful experiences. This place has all the natural conditions for developing eco-tourism such as climate, coastline, mountains, landscapes, ecological environment, seaports, and seafood...

Located in the area of Hon Gom Peninsula, Dam Mon Peninsula covers a natural area of 128 km², and is shielded by Hon Gom and Hon Lon Peninsula and a virgin forest area. The islands within Dam Mon include Hon Ong, Bai Ong Co, Bai Hon Me, Bai Xuan Dung, Hon Lon, Hon Do, and Hon Sang.

The sea area of Dam Mon is still very pristine and clean. Due to being surrounded by a system of small crescent-shaped islands, the sea is calm and relatively waveless. You can travel here by taking a daily bus from Saigon to Nha Trang departing daily with bus companies such as Phuong Trang, Mai Linh, Tra Lan Viên... Then, from Nha Trang city, you can rent a motorbike for convenient travel.

At Dam Mon, you'll not only be mesmerized by the winding road embracing the cool blue sea but also enjoy the fresh air of the primeval forests, or explore the daily life in the fishing village of Dam Mon.

Previously, to reach Dam Mon, tourists would take motorboats from Van Gia town, going back and forth in a day as there were no overnight accommodations. Since August 2002, a new road has been completed running from the foot of Co Ma Pass to Dam Mon, 18.5 km long, facilitating the development of tourism in this area.

This newly opened road traverses a coastal sandbank, with calm waves and clear water. The road runs all the way to Dai Lanh, and the final stop is a small fishing village nestled in the bay, secluded, shaded by coconut trees all year round.

Dam Mon is highly regarded as a top tourist destination. Among its attractions are Dam Mon village and Upper Dam Mon, where you can find high sand dunes for a distant sea view. Or Xuân Đừng village, where the Đàng Hạ community lives, this is the only area right next to the coast with freshwater.

Dam Mon also boasts the typical coral ecosystem of Vietnam. Here, you can find diving services to admire coral reefs, swim in the sea, and take boat trips to Van Phong Bay... Tourism services here are not as developed as in other places, so tourists need to research thoroughly and plan carefully for their trip.
