vivo officially launches OriginOS 4: AI integration, interface enhancements, plethora of useful features

vivo has rolled out OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 with a fresh custom font. For those unfamiliar, OriginOS is vivo's exclusive custom interface for the Chinese market.

As a result, OriginOS 4  comes with new lock screen and display-off customizations (essentially allowing users to personalize the clock style on the home screen, offering various layouts and font styles). Another new feature is Vivo Smart Car 4.0, enhancing car connectivity and providing features such as voice-controlled navigation, music, call control, and many more. Through this feature, users can also access parking assistance features for easy navigation to nearby parking lots. It also simplifies payments and offers instant location identification.

Being based on Android 14 grants you access to the latest software upgrades of this platform. Moreover, the company is introducing new features to simplify users' lives. This includes the vivo Office suite, meeting assistant, trip planner assistant, and family health manager.

The highlight of OriginOS 4 is the introduction of Vivo's global intelligent assistant, Blue Heart Jr. V. This special personal assistant possesses various forms of interaction, including voice, text, drag-and-drop functionality, along with AI content creation, mind map drawing, and convenient standby mode, aiming to deliver an enhanced user experience.

Furthermore, this user interface features an ultra-strong power-saving mode ensuring extended standby time even when the battery is at 1%, extending up to 3 hours or a 15-minute call.
