In a recent Weibo post, renowned leaker Digital Chat Station spilled the beans that Vivo is gearing up to introduce a smartphone soon, equipped with the Dimensity 9200+ chip.
The Vivo X90 series comprises three models: Vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+. While the Pro+ variant is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the other two models utilize the Dimensity 9200 SoC. According to DCS, the company is set to unveil the Vivo X90S with the Dimensity 9200+ chip.
This source reveals that the AnTuTu score for the Dimensity 9200 Plus hovers around 1,350,000. The new SoC is an upgraded version of the current Dimensity 9200, featuring a primary Cortex-X3 core clocked at 3.05 GHz.
Currently, there is no information available regarding the technical specifications of the Vivo X90S. It is likely to be a Dimensity variant of the X90 Pro+. If this unfolds, the phone may come equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO display boasting Quad-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Internally, the phone is anticipated to house 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
