Duncan expressed to ANN that this 'friendship' is growing stronger and Mills admitted wanting to progress further emotionally but Duncan didn't reciprocate. According to Duncan, he wants to treat Mills well and doesn't want to end this 'friendship' because they consider each other good friends.
By January 2014, Duncan confirmed Mills had moved to Ohio, about a year after they first met. He mentioned Mills' new home is about an hour away from where Duncan lives with his mother and brother, and they plan to meet once a month. Duncan revealed that the first time Mills stayed over at his place, they slept next to each other on the double bed.
Duncan claimed Mills even reached out to one of his acquaintances named Brian hoping to find more intimate photos of Duncan. However, it was unsuccessful. Brian also shared with ANN that Mills messaged him and demanded constant video calls to talk.
ANN also reached out to Mills' voice actor to get answers and received a statement saying Mills sought legal counsel and was advised not to comment on the allegations. Mills shared that the relationship is consensual and any allegations should be terminated immediately. When asked why it took so many years to speak up, Duncan explained that his main motivation is to confront the fact that he has been manipulated by Mills for a long time.
