1. Vsmart Joy 3 - Best-selling Vietnamese smartphone in early 2020
The latest upgrade enhances the memory configuration of Vsmart Joy 3 to match many current mid-range devices.
At the beginning of 2020, Vsmart Joy 3 demonstrated tremendous appeal, with over 12,000 units sold on the first day of release. Priced at only 2.69 million VND, users get a device with a decent configuration featuring a Snapdragon 6-series processor, 3 rear cameras, and a large 5,000 mAh battery. Vsmart Joy 3 was later discounted to around 2.3 million VND. The smartphone offers the best performance and price in its segment, even compared to devices from Chinese brands like Xiaomi or Realme.

Recently, VinSmart introduced a new upgraded version of Joy 3 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM.
Having more RAM enables users to multitask with more apps simultaneously, switch between app operations faster and smoother. The 64GB internal memory allows users to fully harness the power of the 3 rear cameras, comfortably taking photos or recording videos without worrying much about running out of storage space. Targeted at the mainstream user segment, the RAM and internal memory upgrade of Joy 3 to match mid-range devices makes it more appealing in this segment.

Compared to competitors in the same price range, Vsmart Joy 3 is the best choice in terms of configuration.
The price for this upgraded version has not been disclosed yet, but with a history of aggressive pricing even compared to Chinese brands, this will be another competitively priced device. VinSmart is clearly demonstrating ambitions to increase market share in the smartphone market in Vietnam. The successes from Vsmart Live demonstrate that affordable devices with good configurations still have significant appeal to users, and the opportunity to capture even more market share in this segment is still open for VinSmart.
