If you're facing issues with not being able to delete photos, you can explore some methods below to delete photos on your Android phone.

Method 1: Restart Your Phone

If you can't delete photos on your Android phone, the first solution is to restart it to refresh the device. Sometimes, the cause of the error may be temporary accumulated files or full storage.

Method 2: Delete Photos Correctly

The only way to delete photos in the photo gallery is to press the Delete button. However, if you use Google Photos as the photo gallery app, the steps to delete photos will be more complicated.

If you're using an offline photo gallery app without storing photos in cloud services, simply press the Delete button to remove photos. If backup is enabled on Google Photos or other cloud storage services, there are two ways to delete photos:

- Case 1: Open the image, find and press the Delete button in the bottom right corner to delete the photo from the phone and cloud service.
