Key Information
- Access your AppleCare+ and warranty status through 'Settings' → 'General' → 'AppleCare & Warranty'.
- You can also check at https://checkcoverage.apple.com or https://mysupport.apple.com via a web browser.
- If you choose not to renew automatically, your AppleCare coverage might terminate, and you might lose the option to extend it later.
Steps to Follow
Utilizing Your iPhone or iPad


- Ensure to upgrade your device.

Tap General. It's located in the third set of options.

Tap
AppleCare & Warranty. You'll find it below Software Update.

Review your coverage. Your current coverage will be displayed under This Device. If you're not covered, it will indicate 'Coverage Expired'.
- You can check coverage for other devices under the More Devices section.
Using Apple's Coverage Verification Tool

Visit https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ using a web browser. You can utilize either a desktop or mobile browser.

Input the serial number of your device. You may locate this on the rear of your device. Alternatively, follow these steps:
- On a Mac: select the Apple menu and choose About This Mac.
- On iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch: navigate to Settings → General → About.

Enter the security code. For added security, you'll need to enter the code displayed in the image box. If necessary, click New Code or Audio Code for alternative options.

Click Submit. This button is displayed in blue.

Review your coverage. Your device will be displayed at the top, along with the purchase date.
- If you lack coverage, you'll encounter Coverage Expired along with potential service options.
Using Apple's Customer Support Portal

Visit https://mysupport.apple.com/ using a web browser. Accessible via desktop or mobile browser.

Log in with your Apple ID. Enter your email or phone number and password.
- You may need to authenticate with two-factor authentication.

Choose your device. A list of all devices linked to your Apple ID will appear under the My Devices section.

Review your coverage. Your device will be displayed at the top, along with the purchase date.
- If you lack coverage, you'll encounter Coverage Expired along with potential service options.
- You have the option to reach out to Apple to renew your AppleCare subscription.
