Guide to Healing Characters in Garena Free Fire
Methods to Restore Character Health in Free Fire
1. Medkit
Medkit is a basic item and simultaneously the only item available at the time needed to replenish health. This item is easily found on the map and can hardly be missed because of its large size and prominent green color.
After obtaining the Medkit, you can use it by touching the icon on the left side of the screen (if you are playing Free Fire on PC or via the Bluestacks emulator, simply press the number key 5). Now, you have to wait 3 seconds for your character to drink the medicine. Within the next 5 seconds, you will restore 75 HP. You can activate the Medkit anytime.
2. Mushrooms
The second way to restore health is by using mushrooms, scattered throughout the map. Eating each mushroom will grant your character a certain amount of EP, also known as energy points, which can then be converted into HP. 1 EP restores 1 HP per second. EP is used until the character is fully healed. You cannot use them in any other way. There are 4 types of mushrooms on the map with 4 different colors, and they will give you 50/75/100/200 EP respectively.
A small note for you is that the Shiba pet can detect the location of mushrooms on the map. Maxim can reduce the activation time of mushrooms and Medkits by 12% when reaching maximum level.
3. Character Skills
Always stock up on Medkits: Even if you already have 5 Medkits in your inventory, it's wise to collect more if there's space. You never know how many Medkits you'll need in a battle, so the more you have, the better.
Gather mushrooms along the way. With EP, you can regenerate a small amount of HP for yourself. It's really handy after getting injured from a fall or getting hit by a bullet.
Wait a few seconds after using each Medkit. In other words, take a break between heals if you have to use multiple Medkits in quick succession. The effects of Medkits don't stack and double over time. This means the effectiveness of the previous Medkit will be nullified by the next one if you activate them too quickly. For this reason, wait 2 seconds before continuing to use Medkits.
