Christmas is just around the corner, overflowing with Santa Claus decorations, reindeers, Christmas trees, or blankets of snow. The Christmas atmosphere is everywhere, and if you want, you can also bring that atmosphere into your Messenger conversations with friends.
Messenger has also updated with a new chat theme called Relaxation. When selecting this theme, the chat interface with any friends on Messenger will switch to a winter tone with a deep blue background (in Dark Mode) or milky white background (Night Mode), along with faint snowflakes below.
Simply tap on the chat recipient's name > choose Theme > select Relaxation and exit.
Here's the interface after the change, the general emoticon icon will also automatically switch to a chilly frozen face icon.
That's not quite captivating enough, is it? We need to adjust it so that when sending messages, a series of snowflakes falling down will make it more vivid. Actually, it's quite simple, we just need to take one more step, which is to change the general emoticon icon in the top right corner.
Tap on the chat recipient's name > choose Emoji, replace it with a snowflake or snowman image, and you're done. Each time you tap and release the snowflake or snowman icon, a Christmas effect will automatically fall down.
Note: Make sure to update Messenger to the latest version. I tested it on version 294.0.0.18.129, updated on 15/12.
