Unlike the famous beaches in Phu Quoc, Ong Lang Beach seems to exist beyond the mainstream of life, wild and serenely eerie.
What activities to enjoy at Ong Lang Beach, the beach most favored by Western visitors?
Located on the western coast of Phu Quoc Island, Ong Lang Beach is over 6 km away from Duong Dong town. Ong Lang Beach is not a continuous stretch of sand but is interspersed with rocky patches amidst sandy stretches.

Though not as picturesque as Sao Beach or Khem Beach, nor as bustling as Truong Beach, Ong Lang Beach still exerts its own unique charm. It captivates with its romantic scenery of lush green trees lining the coast, gently sloping golden sands, and the rare azure blue waters.

Ong Lang Beach is also one of the finest spots to witness stunning sunsets in Phu Quoc, particularly around the rocky area near Mango Bay Resort where the sunset becomes exceptionally mesmerizing. The best time to enjoy the sea is from around November to April the following year.

Route to Ong Lang Bay
Starting from the city center, take the Duong Dong - Cua Can road towards the northern part of the island for approximately 4.5 km. On your left-hand side, you will notice a major road leading towards the sea adorned with numerous signs and resort billboards. Continue for another 1 km until you reach Ong Lang Bay. If utilizing Google Maps, search for directions to Dinh Ba, Ong Lang hamlet. There are two routes to descend to Ong Lang Bay, one from Dinh Ba and the other from Eco Beach Resort.

Recreational Activities
1. Beach Swimming, Snorkeling, Fishing
Ong Lang Bay boasts incredibly clear and tranquil waters. The rocky coves serve as habitats for various fish, shellfish, and coral, allowing you to enjoy swimming while indulging in snorkeling to admire the coral reefs. Restaurants and eateries in this vicinity offer rental services for snorkeling gear and swimming goggles. For those keen on fishing around the islands, they can make inquiries at nearby hotels or resorts.

2. BBQ Parties, Beachside Games
The beach area features vast stretches of lush green grass extending hundreds of meters along with rows of trees providing ample shade, making it ideal for organizing picnics with family and friends. You can purchase fresh seafood from Duong Dong Market, head to the beach to rent a barbecue grill and charcoal on the spot, then indulge in beach swimming and grilled seafood. Additionally, the wide sandy beach serves as a venue for beach games such as volleyball, soccer, and more.

3. Kayaking
You can rent a kayak to explore around the bay or paddle your way to Cua Can River.
