Procedures for transferring high schools in Hanoi include the following steps:
Step 1: Parents or guardians of the student will submit a school transfer application to the principal of the school they intend to transfer to. The receiving principal will provide their consent to accept the application. In case of disagreement, reasons must be clearly stated and the application returned to the parents or guardians.
Step 2: Parents of the student will send the school transfer application to the principal of the current school where the student is studying. The principal will review the transfer documents and allow the student to withdraw their records and academic transcripts.
Step 3: Parents or guardians of the student wishing to transfer will transfer the documents to the principal of the new school. The receiving principal will accept the documents, and if they are complete according to regulations, the student will be accepted.
Step 4: Parents of the student wishing to transfer will submit the transfer application to the Department of Management and Student Affairs of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. The procedures for transferring high schools in Hanoi and related documents from the Department of Education and Training will be processed, and a transfer recommendation letter will be issued for the student.
Step 5: Parents of the student wishing to transfer will receive the processed documents and submit them to the principal of the new school where the student is transferring to.
Processing Time:
Each year, school transfers are processed twice, except for special cases:
