Intelligent virtual assistant - Google Assistant
Introduction to Google Assistant on TV
Google Assistant is a virtual assistant developed by Google and was introduced at the company's developer conference in May 2016. With this virtual assistant, you can converse or command to control features on the device effortlessly.
Google Assistant on TV understands multiple languages, including Vietnamese, and listens well to your everyday communication language.
Example: You ask Google Assistant, 'What time is it now?'

Here is the response from Google Assistant.

You ask, 'Is it going to rain today?'.

Google Assistant will reply.

Guide to activating Google Assistant in Vietnamese.
First, you need to set the language on your phone to Vietnamese. Here's how to set it up:
Step 1: Go to Google and select 'More.'

Step 2: Select 'Settings.'

Step 3: Choose 'Google Assistant.'

Step 4: In the 'Assistant' tab, select 'Languages.'

Step 5: Choose the language as Vietnamese.

If you want to use the virtual assistant in Vietnamese, you need to switch the language on the TV to English.
Then, press and hold the Google Assistant button to command the TV to turn on, turn off apps, inquire about various information like weather, football scores, play music, find directions, especially perform calculations, etc. Immediately, Google Assistant will search and execute the commands you give.
Virtual assistant learns your usage habits and searches to become smarter and accurately fulfill your requests through AI artificial intelligence.

Dream of a smart home becomes a reality
Google Assistant allows the TV to connect with many smart devices in the home such as: vacuum robots, smart lights, air conditioners, smart washing machines, automatic curtains, ... so you can command the devices through your TV.
Example: You have a vacuum robot connected to a TV with Google Assistant support, then you just need to hold the TV remote and command the robot to start automatically and vacuum the house.

- A limitation of Google Assistant is its slow response speed; to activate it in Vietnamese, you need to switch the TV to English, which is a bit inconvenient. However, Google will upgrade this feature for better performance this year.
Diverse and abundant app store
- The Android 9.0 app store on TV offers a wide variety of appealing categories with movie streaming and online music apps such as: HBO Go, Youtube, Netflix, Zing TV, HTV, FPT Play, ClipTV, MyTV, Fim+,...
- Additionally, there are more games updated such as Asphalt 8, Crossy road, LEGO DC Mighty Micros... (note: some games may require a game controller connection to play)
- You can also install external apps using APK files from USB.
Note: You need to install the ES File Explorer intermediary app.
You cannot directly download APK files to the TV for installation, but you have to download them to a USB and then install them on the TV.
Using external apps installed via APK files may have certain limitations, with features not as flexible and comprehensive as those in the TV's app store.

Control your TV using your phone through the Android TV Remote Control app.
