Based on a patent and rumors suggesting that the next Surface Book will feature a keyboard-attached screen with a completely new design, David Breyers has created these images for us. It can be seen that the rendered Surface Book will be a solid block with the keyboard and can be tilted at various angles for use as a tablet.
The current generation Surface Book functions as a hybrid tablet as it can be detached for use as a tablet. However, in the future, Microsoft may alter this design approach. It may feature a more intricate hinge and support structure that protrudes outward, allowing us to use it as a laptop or fold it entirely to function as a tablet. Of course, this will include the keyboard. In tablet mode, it will rise above the keyboard, similar to the Magic Keyboard accessory for the iPad Pro. It will incorporate two hinge mechanisms, one for laptop mode and one for tablet mode, as seen in the rendered images. What are your thoughts on this design approach?Source: MSPowerUser
