Based on a patent and rumors suggesting that the next Surface Book will feature a keyboard-attached screen with a completely new design, David Breyers has created these images for us. It can be seen that the rendered Surface Book will be a solid block with the keyboard and can be tilted at various angles for use as a tablet.
The current generation Surface Book functions as a hybrid tablet as it can be detached for use as a tablet. However, in the future, Microsoft may alter this design approach. It may feature a more intricate hinge and support structure that protrudes outward, allowing us to use it as a laptop or fold it entirely to function as a tablet. Of course, this will include the keyboard.In tablet mode, it will rise above the keyboard, similar to the Magic Keyboard accessory for the iPad Pro.
