Genshin Impact remains an excellent game, but these factors have made players feel less at ease.
1. Lack of End-Game Content

When players complain about the end-game content of Genshin Impact being dull, it's indeed true. Currently, there's not much for high-level adventurers to do. At around level 55, players only need a stable team to breeze through all tasks. The only real challenge is the Spiral Abyss.
Players who haven't encountered this issue are likely at low adventure levels or haven't explored the entire game. However, upon completing the majority of content, they also face this formidable barrier. The recent addition by HoYoverse, the Chasm, introduces new content, but it's still not enough to quench the thirst of gamers.
2. Repetitive Commission Quests

The Adventurers' Guild missions play a role similar to commission quests for Genshin gamers. Players log in daily, complete straightforward commissions, and receive rewards. While these tasks are generally simple and low-challenge, some repetitive ones become monotonous and irritating.
A considerable number of players express disdain for missions involving interactions with Hilichurls, escorting the annoying Anemo Slime balloons, or rescuing merchant cargo, as they excessively consume time. These commission tasks genuinely cause discomfort, making players feel less enthusiastic about the game.
3. Insufficient Original Resin

Original Resin is a crucial resource in the game, necessary for obtaining essential materials. However, the amount of Original Resin provided to players is quite limited, leading to a shortage for daily use. This creates frustration, particularly for those needing to farm Artifacts or upgrade weapon materials.
Many players agree that Genshin Impact should overhaul the Original Resin system to make the game less vexing. At the very least, players should not have to wait several days to complete a full set of Artifacts for their favorite character.
4. Significant Favoritism Towards Female Characters

Gacha games typically cater to single males and teenagers, resulting in a predominantly female character roster. Genshin Impact follows suit, featuring a considerable number of female characters. This has led to a significant gender imbalance among the in-game characters.
Currently, the female character roster significantly outweighs the male roster, with a ratio that might not be an exaggeration to say it's doubled. Fans are urging for more male characters to rectify this, but it's evident that HoYoverse can't make that happen overnight.
5. Escalating Enemy Power

While Genshin Impact excels in character balance, the same cannot be said for enemies. With each update, players face increasingly formidable foes, prompting constant character upgrades to introduce new challenges.
As a result, current enemies lack distinct features to satisfy players. What gamers perceive is enemies with excessively high health and armor, prolonging battles. Boss fights feel 'negative,' featuring foes dealing massive damage but receiving comparatively small damage. Additionally, their actions unnecessarily extend the duration of battles.
6. Complex Requirements of the Spiral Abyss

La Hoàn Thâm Cảnh presents both the easiest and most challenging content for players to grind Primogems, depending on their team composition. It also stands as Genshin Impact's top-endgame content at present, playing a pivotal role in shaping the game's meta. Unfortunately, the Abyss demands considerable power, favoring those who spend generously, leaving other players trailing behind.
The highest floors of the Abyss always feature world-level bosses, consuming a substantial amount of time to defeat. Bringing down these formidable foes requires players to possess a sufficient roster of characters and powerful weapons; otherwise, achieving victory within the time constraints is nearly impossible.
