A brief overview of the ancient city of Cao Cao Ly
The ancient city of Cao Cao Ly is located between the provinces of Liaoning and Hebei. This kingdom existed from 37 BCE to 668 CE. However, there are also many records stating that the kingdom was established in the 2nd century. Most dynasties in feudal times did not last long. Usually ranging from a few decades to a few hundred years. However, the kingdom of Cao Cao Ly surpassed that threshold, becoming the longest-lasting dynasty in the world.
This fortress comprises the archaeological remains of three major citadels: Hwando, Five Maiden Mountains, and Quoc Noi Mountain. Alongside them are 40 ancient royal tombs. Five Maiden Mountains served as the first capital of the ancient city. Additionally, Quoc Noi Mountain and Hwando also once served as capitals of this kingdom.

Hwando is home to many historical relics. It houses several royal tombs and a large palace. Five Maiden Mountains have only been partially excavated so far and are currently under study. The name Cao Cao Ly is also known by many other names, such as Cao Cu Ly, Cao Cau Ly, Ancient Cao Ly, or Goguryeo.

This construction played a role in resisting the Tang Dynasty's invasion. Later, the kingdom of Cao Cao Ly allied with Baekje to attack Silla. At that time, Silla sought help from the Tang Dynasty.
