Let's review Riot Games' adjustments to champions in the League of Legends 9.17 update with Mytour. This will help you strategize effectively in the current meta.
League of Legends Version 9.17
What's new in League of Legends 9.17 update?
1. Aurelion Sol
In the League of Legends 9.17 update, Aurelion Sol is the first champion to receive adjustments from Riot to address weaknesses, enabling him to perform more cunning maneuvers with his skill set. The cooldown of Q will be reduced as it levels up, and movement speed will also be increased by 20% (up from the initial 10%). Aurelion Sol's key point of damage, his passive, has been significantly increased.
2. Kayle
Riot Games developers have adjusted all four skills for Kayle, making her lane smoother and less cumbersome. Kayle's Q now restores mana, while the projectile speed and range of effectiveness have been reduced, but the duration is extended. The E ability deals additional damage and the damage ratio increases with level, making it more dangerous than ever.
3. Qiyana
One of the few champions nerfed in the League of Legends update, Qiyana receives nerfs to her two main skills, E and R. The damage from the E skill is reduced from 70/105/140/175/210 to 50/85/120/155/190, and the cooldown of the R ability is fixed at 120 seconds at all levels (likely to be forgotten in the current meta).
4. Many new skins have been added
The League of Legends 9.17 update brings many new skins for champions like Ahri, Nocturne, Veigar, Galio, Shen, and Varus. Riot has released 6 stunning skins priced at 299 RP in the Shop, players can purchase them as soon as the update is officially launched on all servers.
5. Miscellaneous bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where Soraka didn't receive increased healing from R if below 40% health.
- Fixed inaccuracies in some flying skills while in swampy state.
- Rek'Sai no longer receives the 'Cannot be CC'd' state
- W cleanse will now remove stun status
- Adjusted Lee Sin's flight speed
- Sivir's W will now correctly bounce back when reactivated if over 45% cooldown.
- Fixed an issue where Statikk Shiv would shock targets outside its range
