Information from Sohu reveals that when Châu Tinh Trì joined the film The Secret Service 008 (released in 1996), he was paid a fee of 15 million HKD (equivalent to 50 billion VND). This is a record-breaking amount for an actor, and what's more astounding is that Châu Tinh Trì achieved this staggering fee in just 6 years in the industry.
