What is CMT?
Many people from the previous generation often understood CMT as an abbreviation for the Identity Card. However, in the language of the internet, the younger generation rarely uses CMT with that meaning.
Comments, often abbreviated as CMT, play a significant role in the realm of social media. It stands for Comment, indicating opinions and remarks. In today's fast-paced life, social media has become an indispensable part of internet users, not only the younger generation. In the midst of busy schedules, where time seems to shrink, social media serves as a space for connecting, chatting with loved ones, friends, and various other relationships.
CMT, or commenting, along with other interactive features such as Like, Follow, Share, Add Friend, and Chat, have become familiar terms for social media users. Beneath every post on platforms like Facebook, Zalo, or Twitter, we encounter buttons like Like, Comment, Share, enabling users to interact, express emotions, and share opinions on the post's topic. It's a means for us to converse and engage with each other when direct meetings are not possible.
The Significance of CMT
The CMT feature fosters two-way interaction. We can leave comments on others' posts, and likewise, they can comment on ours. Within the comment section, we also have the option to tag friends, allowing them to read the post and engage in a conversation about the topic.
Comments can carry positive, negative, or neutral tones. Besides expressing personal opinions and tagging friends in comments, you also have the option to insert additional elements such as stickers, icons, GIFs, or links beneath the post.
