iPhone 13 mini is the smallest member of the iPhone 13 family recently introduced by Apple to the market, with a size of just 5.4 inches. The device not only easily fits into users' pockets but also incorporates the latest modern features. However, a factor that many people wonder about is the battery life on iPhone 13 mini.
How much battery capacity does iPhone 13 mini have?
Although Apple has never officially disclosed the exact battery capacity of its phones, experts have estimated that iPhone 13 mini has a battery capacity of around 2406 mAh.
According to official announcements from Apple, iPhone 13 mini can stream video for up to 13 hours and play music for up to 55 hours. These are impressive durations, even surpassing the previous iPhone 12 Pro Max, which could stream video for only 12 hours.
What makes iPhone 13 mini a battery-saving device?
Aside from its long-lasting battery life, iPhone 13 mini also features fast charging technology: 20W fast charging via lightning port, 15W fast wireless charging via MagSafe standard, and 5W via Qi port. This ensures not only better usage time but also saves time when charging the battery, making it convenient for users, especially when they're out and about with low battery levels.
Some things to know about iPhone 13 mini
iPhone 13 mini is one of the 4 iPhones introduced by Apple on September 14. The new Apple phone comes with a range of new features.
- The new generation tempered glass on iPhone 13 enhances scratch and break resistance while maintaining IP68 water resistance standard.
- The Face ID cluster is 25% smaller than its predecessor, providing a more spacious screen.
The main camera cluster has been restructured compared to its predecessor, with cameras now symmetrically positioned instead of being placed on the same side.
iPhone 13 mini boasts a more powerful configuration with the inclusion of the Apple A15 Bionic chip. Despite being manufactured on a 5nm process, the new chip has seen enhancements in transistor count, reaching 15 billion transistors compared to the predecessor's 11.8 billion. Additionally, the GPU in the iPhone 13 mini has been upgraded to 5 cores from the current 4 cores. Improvements have also been noted in artificial intelligence cores, and the RAM capacity has been increased to 4GB. All these enhancements promise to deliver impressive processing performance compared to its predecessor.
The camera has been upgraded with an expanded aperture for the main camera, providing better low-light performance and improved photo quality. Alongside this, the ultra-wide-angle camera has been upgraded with improved focal length, and a series of software upgrades help the iPhone 12 mini achieve better photo capabilities.
Currently, some authorized Apple distributors in Vietnam have announced the expected official selling price of the iPhone 13 mini. The price will start from 20.5 million dong – a fairly attractive price considering the features and compared to the previous generation.
However, it may not be until the end of October 2021 that users in Vietnam have the opportunity to own the official iPhone 13 mini, as the US and Chinese markets will only officially launch the iPhone 13 mini on September 24th, causing a slight delay in our country.
