At the SDC 2018 event, alongside unveiling its first foldable smartphone, Samsung also introduced 4 new screen technologies: Infinity-U, Infinity-V, Infinity-O, and New Infinity.
Recently, renowned leaker Benjamin Geskin revealed some insights into the specifications and pricing of the cheapest variant of the Samsung Galaxy S10, dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. Particularly, he claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will feature an Infinity-O display.
According to Gizmochina, the 'lite' version of the Galaxy S10 is expected to be announced alongside the Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ duo at the MWC 2019 event, scheduled for next February. The Infinity-O display rumored to appear on the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will provide users with an incredibly immersive experience, featuring extremely thin bezels on all four sides and a selfie camera nestled within a hole in the top left corner.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 phone is speculated to come in 3 different variants, each varying in price.Additionally, despite previous rumors suggesting that the Galaxy S10 Lite would only have a single rear camera, according to Geskin, this phone will feature dual rear cameras arranged vertically and positioned diagonally in the top left corner, similar to the setup on the Galaxy A7 (2018). However, Samsung will not integrate the fingerprint sensor under the display or place it on the rear; instead, it will be positioned on the side of the Galaxy S10 Lite.
In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite could be equipped with either the Snapdragon 845 or Snapdragon 8150 processor, accompanied by three memory variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM, and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM.
Regarding pricing, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is expected to be priced between 650 USD and 750 USD (approximately 15 – 17.5 million Vietnamese dong), while the prices for the two variants of Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ are yet to be determined.
