4. Registering for a VTCpay account
To use VTCpay, you need to register for a VTCpay account:
Method 1: Registering VTCpay on the website

- Step 1: After you have downloaded the app to your device, open the app and then press the 'Register' button.
- Step 2: Enter your phone number in the 'Phone Number' field and your real name. This phone number is your personal e-wallet number to help you make payments with VTCpay payment gateway.
- Step 3: Enter a password to create an e-wallet, you need to enter both letters and numbers for high security.
- Step 4: Enter your ID card and email address
- Step 5: Enter the verification code sent to you by the payment gateway, click the 'Activate' button to complete the registration of VTCpay e-wallet.
After you have successfully registered for VTC pay, you can easily top up your account to perform various transactions. You can top up at transaction counters, ATMs, or online.
5. How to top up VTC pay
There are several ways to top up your VTCpay account such as:

- Step 3: Select 'E-wallet', choose 'Top up'

- Step 1: Download the internet banking app associated with your bank account.
- Step 2: Log in to the internet banking service you have registered and are using.
- Step 3: Choose to top up your e-wallet within the app.
- Step 4: Enter the relevant information about your VTC pay account along with the amount you need to top up.
- Step 5: Enter OTP. Then press 'Confirm' to confirm.

* Top up VCT pay via SMS
This top-up method is simpler but is only supported for users with accounts at Oceanbank and Maritimebank. To top up via SMS, you can compose the following syntax:
- For Oceanbank customers: Top-up syntax OJB CK [Amount][11001010111999][Your account] send to 8149.
- For Maritimebank customers: Top-up syntax MSB CK [Amount][11001010111999][Your account] send to 8088 or 6085
