How to Activate Wifi Only Mode on Google Maps for Android
Step 1: Tap the menu icon (three lines) in the top left corner of the screen -> Scroll down and select Settings
Step 2: Choose Offline areas -> Tap the settings icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 3: In the Offline Settings section -> select To save cellular data while using Google Maps, go to settings
Step 4: Toggle the switch to activate Wifi Only mode
Google Maps 9.32 introduces a range of offline settings, including options like automatic offline area updates, automatic downloading of offline areas, or downloading favorite places via Wifi Only mode.
Currently, only a select few users can access this experimental feature, so you'll need to wait if you don't have it yet. Previewing destinations on Google Maps has become a common trick, and now you can even travel the world with just Google Maps.
