Located just 50km west of Hanoi's city center, Ban Xoi Valley is an ideal picnic spot for a short day trip. Newly opened to tourism, Ban Xoi Valley still retains much of its pristine beauty with stunning natural landscapes and many interesting spots for families to explore together.

The route to Ban Xoi Valley
When traveling from Hanoi, the route to Ban Xoi Valley is very convenient. You can take either of the two routes leading here.
- Follow route 32 towards Hanoi – Son Tay, then head towards Yen Bai commune and Chong village to reach the valley of Ban Xoi.
- Travel along Thang Long Boulevard. Opting for this direction will be more convenient and easier. Especially, along this route, you can take the opportunity to visit the Cultural Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups.

Accommodation
As the Ban Xoi valley is newly developed for tourism, there are not many guesthouses or hotels available yet. Currently, there are 5 small wooden houses and 2 large wooden houses for visitors to stay. It is advisable to make a reservation in advance to avoid the situation of no rooms available when arriving for outdoor activities.

Activities in Ban Xoi
Ban Xoi is a destination for outdoor activities, so tourists mainly come here to enjoy the fresh air, admire the pristine and mysterious natural scenery, and engage in lively team-building activities.
The spaciousness of Xoi village makes it perfect for team-building activities. In the evening, you can ask the host to prepare firewood and camping gear for a bonfire gathering and singing session.



At Xoi village, you can order various delicious dishes and specialties from Ba Vi such as snakehead fish, carp from Da River, goat dishes, and wild boar. You can even order by platter, each containing a variety of uniquely flavored dishes representing the culinary essence of Ba Vi.

Additionally, you can also prepare some food to bring to Xoi village. Depending on the weather, you can bring fresh ingredients like marinated meat, sausages, sweet potatoes, corn, etc., for a fun outdoor BBQ party at noon. In the evening, when the bonfire is lit, you can ask the host to prepare chicken, wild boar meat, corn, potatoes, etc., for a delightful combination of entertainment and grilling.
