Yamato's inclusion would grant the Straw Hats an additional formidable fighter.
In the Wano storyline, both Yamato and Momonosuke are regarded as the most promising candidates to become the Straw Hats' newest member after the events of Onigashima.
However, as of chapter 1051, Momonosuke is slated to become Wano's new Shogun. Meanwhile, Yamato officially meets all members of the Straw Hat pirate crew and declares herself as 'Kouzuki Oden,' pledging to join the crew.
From this point, many One Piece fans have wondered, if Yamato truly joins the Straw Hats, what role would she assume within the crew?
1. A close combat specialist

Yamato's inclusion would significantly strengthen the Straw Hat crew. Previously, the Straw Hats had three fighters on par with a Yonko commander: Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji. Later, Jinbe joined them.
Observing Yamato's extended one-on-one battle against Kaido clearly demonstrates her strength surpassing that of the Tobiroppo. The Devil Fruit Ooguchi no Makami she consumed appears particularly remarkable.
Simply the notion of a Yonko's daughter joining the Straw Hats is impressive. With Yamato's reputation, low-ranking pirates and Marine soldiers might tremble at her presence, especially witnessing her employ Kaido's Raimei Hakke technique.
2. Luffy's Advisor via Oden's Journal

Yamato possesses Oden's journal, seemingly having memorized its contents. Hence, even if the book were stolen or damaged, Yamato would still recall its contents.
Yamato could also guide Luffy to Laugh Tale by providing directions to the fourth Road Poneglyph's location.
If information about these stones is inscribed in a journal and conveyed to the Straw Hat crew by Yamato, Luffy could return to Fish-Man Island sooner.
3. Becoming the Chronicler of the Journey

Since being exiled from the capital, Oden chronicled his adventures, continuing even after joining Roger's crew. Thus, Oden's journal could inspire Yamato.
While Luffy has experienced numerous grand adventures, it seems none of his crewmates are dedicated to documenting them. Yamato, like Oden, might take up the mantle and write a new journey journal.
Imagine if someday another pirate found Yamato's journal, recounting her adventures with Luffy. It could spawn a new legend.
