Its debut was accompanied by the Campus Showmatch Tournament, featuring strong clubs from various universities: BKEC - Bach Khoa Esports Club, Hanoi Open University, XAY GAME, DNU Esports Club - DEC, Electronic Sports Club ESC VNUA, and ESC - FPTU Esports Club. When asked about the tournament organization, Nguyen Duc Thinh - Head of the Electronic Sports Club at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, expressed the challenges faced in coordinating with the Publisher and the difficulties in achieving consensus due to varying opinions. Some schools lack recognized student organizations, making it challenging to connect and support major tournaments.
'Perhaps the most memorable experience was operating the tournament for the first time in 2013, when it was just a small grassroots event at my middle school. Despite various shortcomings, my passion was boundless, and I exceeded everyone's expectations at that time. I hope my Battle Teams 2 - Truy Kích PC tournament will be a resounding success, fostering greater student connections and community development,' shared Duc Thinh, expressing confidence in the upcoming Campus Championship 2023.
